We decided to enlist the help of a property finder as we were relocating our family of four from London to Tunbridge Wells, an area we had no previous connections with. When looking for a property finder we were recommended Fiona Penny. She was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly when I contacted her on the telephone.
We met with Fiona to discuss our requirements and what she could do to help us. Fiona has extensive knowledge of the area we were looking at and very good connections.
Once retained, Fiona started to look at houses for us. Anything we liked the sound of she would view and give us feedback on. If we liked her feedback, we would view. This enabled us to make progress quickly without wasting time travelling far to viewings of houses we would never be interested in buying. Due to Fiona’s good connections she would also get viewings at a very early stage, sometimes even before a house had come on to the market.
When we decided to put an offer on a house, Fiona would handle all the negotiations and have all the dealings with the agent/seller on our behalf. She would take care of all practicalities leading up to exchange and make sure everything progressed as fast as possible.
Having Fiona on our side took a lot of stress out of the house buying process. It also freed up our time. With Fiona’s area and market knowledge we also felt comfortable to act faster when we had found the house we wanted.
Buying a house and moving to a new area can be very stressful. However, with Fiona constantly on hand we had a friend to turn to, giving us advice and support. It was a life saver. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Without her I fear we might have given up on the idea of buying and just settled on renting instead.
